STUDENT GROUP GIVE2GROW HELPS OUT IN AYUTTHAYA

A group of students headed by Year 10 Pakin (Pete) Teerachotmongkol have been participating in some fantastic work at a school in Ayutthaya. The charitable movement is called Give2Grow and has aimed to improve the quality of life for school children all over Thailand by educating them about mental health, physical fitness and wellbeing.

The most recent activity saw Shrewsbury students preparing a ‘happy playground’. The area is now complete with a repainted floor and a new organic garden for which they can use to grow local fruit and vegetables. The day was completed with a casual seminar on personal health and how each student can look out for themselves and each other.

Give2Grow is also attracting new volunteers regularly. Organiser Pete singled out Ryan in Year 10 who has already contributed a considerable amount of time and resources to the group, and he hopes more students will step up and help out.
