In November, Shrewsbury students were invited by British Charity '@Action4DiabetIcs' (A4D) to Phnom Penh, Cambodia to support their Family Camp Programme.
The school has been supporting the work of A4D, founded by adventurer, Jerry Gore, for some time now. Last year a group of students travelled to A4D's Mandalay camp, this year's Cambodian camp again proved a wonderful opportunity to shadow local doctors and to help educate Diabetics and their families about how to successfully manage the condition.
It really is a very great privilege for Shrewsbury students to be involved in life-saving charity work, both in local communities and beyond, and those attending the A4D mission once again repaid the organisers with wonderful committment, humility and humour throughout.
