Golf

A fantastic result for Victoria Tip-Aucha at the Shrewsbury Invitational as she shot even par on the weekend at Suwan Golf Course. Despite finding the water on two occasions, she scraped back into contention with a superb back nine. Victoria clearly showed the kind of credentials that led to her scholarship scholarship signing to Penn State's NCAA Golf Team.

Another star from the day was 14 year old legend-in-waiting TK Chantananuwat who shot -2 for the day. Despite this result, his coaches, including Shrewsbury’s Mike Scrivener, believe he has an even better performance in him. Very impressive!

Basketball

A varsity tournament was held over the weekend at The American School Bangkok (ASB) with the Shrewsbury boys making the semi-final, but ultimately finishing 4th in what was considered a pre-cursor event for the season ahead. The girls’ side just finished outside the semi-final spots but earned victory in the plate final against Bangkok Prep, finishing 5th overall. The girls have a young side, but Coach Joe Cahill has strong hopes for the future. After both teams played seven games in three days, a rest is well-deserved.

Football

Harrow hosted a football tournament over the weekend with many teams using the event as a tune-up for the upcoming British International School, Phuket (BISP) Soccer Sevens.

Coach Naomi says the following positive results across the board are a reflection of the hard work and efforts by all of the coaches, players and the positive support of the parents.
