Commenting on the results, Riverside Principal Mr. Chris Seal said:

“Naturally I’m delighted that yet again the Shrewsbury community has produced such excellence, and that we see students of all abilities over-achieving in public examinations. The inspiring individual stories show just what young people are capable of when encouraged and offered a great learning environment and expert support. Collaboration is at the heart of our learning community and our students are indebted to their parents, our teachers, and our award winning Higher Education department who open access to the very best institutions. Our students should be proud of themselves. We certainly are.”
