YEAR 5 GET EXPERIMENTAL

Our budding Year 5 Scientists from 5CH made the journey to the Senior School for a very special lesson from Senior Chemistry Teacher, Mr Walton in which they made biodegradable plastic from milk!

This unique experience organised by Ms Holt aimed to both build familiarity with the Senior School and also make for an exciting introduction to their Materials topic. This topic for term 3a saw Year 5 explore the materials that make the world around us and grow understanding in why certain materials are used in manufacturing, design, and construction.
