Shrewsbury International School Bangkok, Riverside Hosts the 2024 Kids' Lit Quiz!

Shrewsbury International School Bangkok, Riverside buzzed with literary excitement as it hosted this year’s Kids' Lit Quiz (KLQ). Over 170 students from 15 international schools across Bangkok came together to test their literary knowledge.

Shrewsbury Riverside fielded a strong contingent of 16 students from Years 6 and 7, forming four enthusiastic teams. The KLQ format is designed to be both fun and challenging, with questions focused on testing students' knowledge on popular novels, literary characters and famous authors. From classic villains and fantastical monsters to witty heroes and obscure titles, the quiz had something for every young bibliophile.

While the competition was fierce, it was all in good literary spirit. Shrewsbury Riverside's teams performed admirably, with all four securing spots in the final rankings. Their teams placed 10th, 11th, 17th, and 24th.

Congratulations to this year's champion, Harrow International School Bangkok, who emerged victorious from the exciting competition. All participants undoubtedly learned a lot and walked away with a renewed love for literature.
