Her time during Sixth Form at Shrewsbury International School Bangkok, Riverside imparted educational tidbits and crucial personal growth that helped Emily overcome the challenges of tertiary education. It taught Emily how to be independent and self-sufficient, and it provided her with the ability to plan out and achieve both her academic and personal milestones.

Independence was a crucial factor that allowed Emily to thrive during her time in Sixth Form and now at the University of York. How students had to manage their studies and extracurricular activities on their own was pivotal for Emily, as she was allowed to work on everything on her own. This has lent itself to how she currently approaches her day-to-day life in the United Kingdom.

While academic excellence is - always will be - something that Shrewsbury International School Bangkok, Riverside places optimal importance on, we also are committed to ensuring that our students can flourish outside of the classroom as well. In addition to the plethora of extracurricular activities we provide, the independence that comes with how our curriculum is structured allows students to hone in on their passions and discover paths for pursuing them in their future endeavors.

Well-rounded education encompasses learning both inside and outside of the classroom so that our pupils excel academically while transforming into global citizens that will make an impact on the world - following their dreams along the way.
