FAMILY READING CHALLENGE 2021

For many years at Shrewsbury, our families have taken on the challenge of reading as many books as they can together. 

This year was no different, thanks to our fantastic Library team who have been running an online Click and Collect service to ensure that all our students had access to the 5,500+ books in the school's Library. 

Our families have been safely collecting their Family Reading Challenge bags over the past few weeks, with selected books including non fiction, story telling and poetry in English, Thai and Mandarin.

Students also took advance of the school's e-book platform, given them even more choice of reading material to enjoy at home. 

Reading has always been a central part of the curriculum at Shrewsbury. It is a key piece of advice that the school regularly gives to parents who ask how they can support their children at home...read, read, read!
