LIVING HISTORY: WORLD WAR 2
World War 2 was a featured topic this term, with year 6 students fully immersing themselves in events.
Students sculpted and carved a range of clay war medals, helping them to understand the commitment and sacrifices that were made by those who fought.
Highlights included making jam buns with rations, where the children used their problem-solving and creative thinking skills to make their limited ingredients go further.
