TERM 3 REVIEW 2019-20

The Shrewsbury community at both City Campus and Riverside mobilised to contribute both financially and with food donations over the past month, much to the relief of Thailand Scholars of Sustenance (Thai SOS).

Filling the breach where hotels across Bangkok usually donated excess food, but have been unable in recent times due to low occupancy rates, City Campus and Riverside called upon staff, students and their families to help out where they could.
Many food items, essentials such as nappies, bathroom supplies and other amenities have been collected and donated to Thai SOS as well as a financial contribution.

City Campus Principal Ms Amanda Dennison says that she is amazed at the altruistic nature of the Shrewsbury community at both campuses.

“While our community are all ensuring that we all stay safe, it is heartwarming to see that we are still able to give to those less fortunate who are struggling through the economic hardships that this pandemic has caused.” she said.

Shrewsbury City Campus and Riverside remain dedicated to continuing its support of its charity partners during the COVID -19 crisis and beyond. The two schools believe that we are all in this together and we will endeavour to help in any way we can.
