BELLA IN YEAR 6 WINS NATIONAL WRITING AWARD 22 Jun 2020

Congratulations to Bella in Year 6 for her success at the Neilson Hays Library Young Writers Awards!

After being shortlisted earlier in the year, the panel of judges deemed Bella's composition to be the winning entry in her category 'Picture Books for 12 years and Under for International Schools'.

Bella's insightful and progressive book, Lemon Boi, follows the story of a restless yellow lemon who looks at other fruits and decides to try out different identities and appearances.

Ms Dennison, Mrs Hill (Year 6 Teacher) and Ms Rachel from the Library were all keen to share their messages of congratulations. Well done, Bella!
