TERM 2 REVIEW 2019-20

HAVING HOPE

Taking inspiration from Giraffes Can’t Dance by British author Giles Andreae, Year 2 showed us the importance of being kind and supporting each other to achieve their dreams.

Students took to the stage in the school’s auditorium and used their hand-made, environmentally-friendly wish wands to share their hopes for the future.

Year 2’s presentations linked perfectly to City Campus’s value of the month, which is Hope. Teachers and parents were extremely proud to see the strong grasp that the children had of perseverance and thinking of others.

Vice Principal Ms Fiona Betts shared, “What blew me away the most was the fact that the children’s hopes were not for themselves, but for their families, their friends and those in need. With our next generation holding these selfless values, we truly can have hope for the future.”
