TERM 2 REVIEW 2019-20

CROSS-CAMPUS PLAY

As part of Shrewsbury Bangkok’s extensive cross-campus, our early years students have been taking special trips to visit each other at the respective schools.

City Campus’s EY2 children were delighted to welcome visitors from Riverside for a series of playdates. Classes played number games together, did our very own treasure hunts, and had lots of fun balancing and climbing together in the Little Gym.

Our youngest students in EY1 classes also enjoyed their very first expeditions over to Riverside. Their visits involved fun minibus rides, lots of play and some special sing-along sessions.

All our cross-campus activities are designed to strengthen the links between children, staff and parents across both schools. The cross-campus programme is carefully planned, to help students from both schools to make new friends, get to know their way round each of the campuses, and contribute to the strength of the Shrewsbury family.

Cath Okill, Head of Early Years at City Campus explains, “Our children loved welcoming Riverside students to City Campus, and likewise it's great fun visiting them. Shrewsbury's play-based approach in the early years is the perfect platform for our children to interact and get to know each other.”

All Year 6 students graduating from City Campus have a guaranteed place at Riverside from Year 7 onwards. Riverside has an outstanding track record in British senior education. Shrewsbury students achieve consistently high examination results, paving the way to the very best universities around the world.
