PAGES FULL OF PIRATES

As part of their Pirates topics, Year 2 students were tasked by their teachers to write and illustrate their own sea adventure books. The children took great pride in their creations, and showed true imagination and creativity in their stories. 

Parents were invited into the library for a special reading of the children's creations. At Shrewsbury, we plan plenty of opportunities for parents to see their children learning and to enjoy events around the school. 

The library is a key place for families to gather before and after school, demonstrating the importance that City Campus places on reading. Our families always enjoy visiting our library and choosing books to take home and read together.
