TERM 1 REVIEW 2019-20

EVERY LITTLE HELPS

Freshly inspired by their Eco Beasts Community Action Day, the school’s environment awareness club continues to drive sustainability at City Campus.

The state of our natural planet is rightfully a hot topic in today’s society, and we are delighted to be hearing the same important messages for change from City Campus students. The school’s value of the month in November was environmental awareness, and we stand with Greta Thunberg in reminding one another that, “No-one is too small to make a difference.”

Our students and teachers gathered to hear more from Ms Erica, the school’s Sustainability Lead, and our student Eco Beasts. Ms Erica launched our Ecobricks project by explaining how we can make good ecobricks from single-use plastic and what ecobricks can be used for. The school has been set an ecobricks target to reach, which the children immediately assured us they could exceed.

The school also welcomed guest speaker Mr Daniel Hales from CataClean, who shared some of the steps we can all take to help keep our air clean.

Shrewsbury City Campus is currently accepting applications. For more information, please contact our Admissions team on 02 203 1222 or admissions-city@shrewsbury.ac.th.
