Children, staff and parents came through the school gates in blue and white to mark the International Day of Peace, which is acknowledged annually by the United Nations. 

Our teachers opened the day with a beautiful acapella piece sung by candlelight, to a captivated audience in the school’s auditorium. Then from Year 1 to Year 6, the students proudly took to the stage to share their interpretations of peace through song, poetry and music.

Music Teacher Ms Bull concluded, “It was a proud moment to see both our Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 choirs performing on stage. Our pupils captured just the right mood with their poems of peace and sang beautifully to spread the message of the song 'Children are the Future of the World'.”
