STUDENTS ENJOY CROSS-CAMPUS EXPEDITION

City Campus and Riverside explore Khao Yai

Year 5 students from City Campus and Riverside were delighted to come together to spend a few days in Khao Yai.

Khao Yai, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of Thailand’s largest national parks. The rich biodiversity of the park provides many opportunities for the children to see their learning on rainforests and habitats with their own eyes.

Amongst team building activities, hikes and marshmallows round the campfire, children also created their own natural sculptures inspired by British artist, Andy Goldsworthy.

The residential was one of many events that forms part of Shrewsbury Bangkok’s carefully planned transition process, that sees Year 6 children from City Campus hold a guaranteed place at Riverside from Year 7.

All cross-campus events throughout the two primary schools help to strengthen the links between children, parents and staff across Shrewsbury Bangkok. The campuses are currently preparing the parents and children in the 2019 Year 6 cohort to make their transition to the senior school at Riverside in August 2020.

Shrewsbury City Campus is currently accepting applications. For more information, please contact our Admissions team on 02 203 1222 or admissions-city@shrewsbury.ac.th.
