SOWING THE SEED

EY1 observe World Soil Day.

EY1 students took on a seed-planting project in the Early Years Garden, to mark Thailand's World Soil Day (WSD).

WSD is held annually on 5th December. It focuses on the importance of healthy soil and promotes the sustainable management of soil resources.

The date of 5th December was chosen because it corresponds with the official birthday of the late His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, King of Thailand, who was one of the main pioneers of this initiative.

Year 2 and 3 also rolled their sleeves up to take on their own planting initiatives in their Thai Studies lessons.
