FOBISIA MATHEMATICS COMPETITIONAT SISB

We took four children from Year 5 and 6 to participate in our first-ever FOBISIA Primary Mathematics Competition at SISB. The children competed against 25 other schools from 9 different countries. As the youngest team in the competition, we could not have been prouder of their efforts. 

They worked as a team to solve Maths Mastermind problems, completed a race of STEAM tasks around the Children’s Discovery Museum in Bangkok, and calculated under pressure during an intense live buzzer round. Most importantly of all, they had an absolutely fantastic time doing it all over the course of three days.

In addition, one of our students, Phut, achieved a Bronze medal for the individual challenge! Congratulations to our incredible mathematicians!
