ASSEMBLY ON SUSTAINABILITY

Resonating with the recent World Earth Day, our Principal, Ms Amanda Dennison, opened the Term 3 assembly with a powerful message on sustainability. She enlightened our students on the meaning of 'Sustainability' - a combination of two words: sustain and ability, and urged action: Refuse, Reuse, Reduce, Recycle, and Repurpose.

Ms Dennison read a story titled ‘Fish’, written by Brendan Kearney, a story about ridding the ocean of plastic pollution, and asked students, 'What can we do in school?' Because to help save the planet, we must start with ourselves and our own community. Little by little, we can help make the world a better place!
