The Hanqing Bilingual Pathway elevates Shrewsbury International School Bangkok City Campus to greater heights, aligning with our vision of providing outstanding opportunities for our students and nurturing them to reach their full potential as global citizens, ready to thrive in today’s challenging world.
Today’s press conference for the Hanqing Bilingual Pathway featured a panel discussion on “The Transformative Power of Bilingual Education: Merging Mandarin and English,” with distinguished panellists including Luna Cao, HQP Chinese Principal; Dr Lu Jia, HQP Education Director; Asst Prof Apiradee Charoensenee, Head of the Chinese Section, Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University; and Patricia Good, Shrewsbury Bangkok alumna.
A special mention goes to our Shrewsbury Bangkok student for a beautiful performance on the Pipa to open the event, as well as to the professional Guzheng musician who performed during the official ceremony. The event was further enriched by the stunning Chinese calligraphy created by a master calligrapher to commemorate the official launch of the Hanqing Bilingual Pathway.
