The SHC Sports Award 2026 celebrated these qualities, recognising students who embraced every challenge with determination while representing the school with pride throughout the academic year.
Every Training Session Counts
Every achievement began long before competition day. It started with consistent training, listening to coaches, encouraging teammates and having the courage to keep trying.
Throughout the year, our students developed these qualities across a wide range of Sports, PE and Swimming opportunities, taking part in football, basketball, netball, touch rugby, gymnastics, tennis, swimming, athletics, teeball and more.
Whether stepping onto the court for the first time or competing against other leading international schools, every experience became an opportunity to grow.
Learning Skills That Last a Lifetime
The event celebrated more than outstanding performances. Awards recognised determination, sportsmanship, resilience and teamwork—qualities that children carry into every aspect of school life.
From FOBISIA competitions and the Bangkok Games to local fixtures and school sporting events, our students consistently demonstrated respect, courage and a commitment to improving, regardless of the result.
These experiences helped children develop confidence, leadership and a lifelong appreciation for healthy, active living.
A Thriving Sports Community
Sports continued to flourish at Shrewsbury International School Bangkok City Campus, with growing participation across our Sports, PE and Swimming programmes. More children discovered new passions, built friendships and challenged themselves in an environment where every individual was empowered to reach their potential.
The event was also a celebration of the community behind every athlete. Our dedicated PE teachers, specialist coaches and parents played an invaluable role in nurturing each child’s journey, ensuring that every success was built on encouragement, opportunity and shared commitment.
