Speech Day and Prize Giving Ceremony has marked the start of our celebratory season, wrapping up the amazing 2023-24 academic year. Congratulations to all the award recipients who have received our most prestigious honours. The awards presented include the Academic Excellence Award, Diligence Award, Commitment to Speaking English Award, Global Citizenship Award, Physical Education Award, Music Award, and the Principal’s Awards.

The music performances by our outstanding students deserved a big round of applause from the audience, which included their friends, parents, teaching staff, SMT from both City Campus and Riverside, and our Shrewsbury Governors, who flew in from the UK to witness this honourable event.

This year’s Speech Day address was delivered by John Clark, our Governor, who is in his final year of service to Shrewsbury after almost a decade of working with us. He shared inspiring life philosophies, captivating the audience. We presented him with our Starfish Honour trophy as a token of gratitude for his tremendous contribution to our school over the years.
