Award-Winning Filmmakers Visit
SHC Digital Creativity & Computing SHC Junior SHC StoryWe welcomed award-winning filmmakers Adi Alfa and Eric Byers to our Digital Literacy lesson in the Media Studio. Adi Alfa is an award-winning actress, makeup and special effects artist, and the owner of an award-winning production company. Eric Byers has worked in the UK music industry for over 10 years with some of the biggest stars and has directed many films that have been nominated for major awards.
Our City Campus children also had the opportunity to learn from their expertise, seeking advice about their films for the upcoming Bear Nobel One Minute Film Challenge. It was a joy to see the children working with Eric and Adi on storylines, characters, and storyboards for their productions. Eric and Adi were also interviewed for our City Life magazine, which will be out next month!
Adi and Eric visited us as part of the Junior School Film Festival at Shrewsbury Bangkok Riverside, where they have been running filmmaking masterclasses, cinematography and makeup workshops, and serving as jury members for the festival awards.
