SHC Design Technology SHC Junior SHC StoryOur Junior SHC MasterChef competition showcased a feast of talent as our young chefs put their culinary skills to the test! Competing in our Food Technology room as part of the Design & Technology curriculum, student representatives from each House chopped, stirred, and plated their way to impress the Senior Leadership Team judges—and last year’s MasterChef winner.
Congratulations to our champion! His winning dishes, featuring Scotch Eggs and Japanese Raindrop Cake, will be cooked in the school’s big kitchen and served to the entire school at lunch—a truly delicious reward!
Cooking in primary school is more than just fun; it helps children develop essential life skills, boosts creativity, encourages problem-solving, and promotes healthy eating habits. Through hands-on experience, students build teamwork, gain independence, and learn valuable lessons that will stay with them for life.
