SHREWSBURY EMBRACING THE FUTURE WITH CONFIDENCE

Shrewsbury International School Bangkok (Riverside) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Rob Millar, current Vice Principal and Head of the Senior School, to succeed our current Principal, Mr Chris Seal, in September 2022.

Congratulations to Chris Seal, who has been appointed as Head of Tanglin Trust School in Singapore and will move there in August 2022, after five years of exceptional leadership of Shrewsbury International School Riverside.

Mr Seal will continue as the Principal of Riverside for the next academic year, ably leading the school into its expansion phase with the new world-class facilities coming on stream. August 2021 will see the opening of the School’s new 1.1bn THB Innovation Building and Sports Performance complex.

Rob Millar has been a vital part of the school’s leadership team since arriving in Bangkok in 2010, contributing to Shrewsbury’s deserved reputation as Thailand’s leading international school, both at Riverside and City Campus.

Rob Millar graduated with a first-class pass in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University, then a Masters in Neuroscience and a Teaching Diploma at Oxford University. This was followed by teaching in the United Kingdom at various schools before arriving at Shrewsbury Bangkok.

On the appointment of Mr Millar as his successor, Chris Seal comments;
