Shrewsbury's annual Art and Design Technology Exhibition took place on Thursday 20th June, featuring some amazing creations from Years 6 and 9, and the GCSE and A level portfolio work of students from Years 11 and 13.

With construction works for the library renovation ruling out the use of the normal exhibition space, the Art and DT Departments came up with a typically creative plan that involved a single-afternoon "pop-up" exhibition in the Morris Forum, Atrium and Senior corridor; public spaces that ensured maximum exposure for pieces and their creators.

The event also provided the platform to recognise the achievements and contributions of this year's Art and DT Excellence awards winners; students who's talent and dedication to their craft are helping to strengthen Shrewsbury's enviable legacy in the creative arts.

And perhaps no teacher deserves more credit in nurturing that legacy than Ms Proctor, who sadly bids us farewell this June after many years of service to the school and who received a special gift as part of the presentation. You will be missed.
