With just 2 weeks left of the academic year, most teachers could be forgiven for having one (very tired) eye on the long summer break ahead. For Year 2 Teacher Ms Russo, however, both eyes were firmly fixed on a very different prize.
On the weekend of 15th June she traveled to Koh Phangnan to compete in a 62km ultra trail race; a tough test of endurance over mountains, through waterfalls and across beaches. Ms Russo was running to raise money for mental health charity Mind and to help raise awareness of the work of the Thai Samaritans; organisations with whom Ms Russo has a deep personal connection.
Congratulations to Ms Russo for her efforts, and her support of good causes.
