Shrewsbury International School Bangkok is celebrating another fantastic set of A level results for its Class of 2019 graduates. 65% of all A level examinations scored the top A*/A grades versus a UK average just 26%, whilst the proportion of exams scoring the very top A* grade was 4.5 times higher than the UK average.

Joining him at Imperial will be Thithat (Ken) Thepsutha (Civil Engineering), and Panlada (Namwan) Trirotanan (Biological Sciences), whose decision to return to Shrewsbury for her A level studies is rewarded by an excellent placement to world top 10 ranked university.

Equipped with excellent results across the board, the Class of 2019 cohort, who together achieved some 477 university offers, now head to leading universities in Europe, Asia, and prestigious US institutions including Berkeley, Cornell, Duke, and UPenn.

Commenting on the results, Riverside Principal Mr. Chris Seal said:

“Naturally I’m delighted that yet again the Shrewsbury community has produced such excellence, and that we see students of all abilities over-achieving in public examinations. The inspiring individual stories show just what young people are capable of when encouraged and offered a great learning environment and expert support. Collaboration is at the heart of our learning community and our students are indebted to their parents, our teachers, and our award winning Higher Education department who open access to the very best institutions. Our students should be proud of themselves. We certainly are.”
