On Saturday 30th April, the Riverside campus was filled with excited students aged 3-15 who took part in the Shrewsbury Invitational Aquathon. The sport event saw participants compete in age-specific ‘swim and run’ races in a morning of fun physical activity with a dose of friendly competition. This year, 340 students signed up from Riverside and City Campus as well as Bangkok Prep and Denla British School.
Head of Senior School, Rob Millar, welcomed the children and their families to the event, saying it was the perfect opportunity to bring the whole Shrewsbury community together and to welcome families from other schools once again.
There were some truly impressive performances and even the very youngest children were able to take part in a bespoke 'run and scoot' race (with parents joining in!). The list of race winners can be found here.
It was wonderful to welcome back our families to this popular community event. Everyone had a great time, all in the spirit of competition and sportsmanship.
