Legacy Families Join Hanqing Bilingual Pathway
The visit was led by Khun Chali Sophonpanich, Founder of Shrewsbury International School Bangkok, accompanied by his daughter Khun Siriporn Sophonpanich and son-in-law Khun Theraphat Owlarn, who have also enrolled their child in the founding Hanqing Bilingual Pathway cohort.
Joining them were:
- Khun Apisak Tantivorawong – Chairman of the Board and Independent Director, The Siam Commercial Bank Public Company Limited (SCB)
- Khun Prasong Owlarn – Representative of Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce / Chairman of Housing Business Association and World Hainanese Executive Association
Along with their families, who have also enrolled in becoming Founding Families of HQP.
This gathering of visionaries reflects the strong trust and belief that some of Thailand’s most influential families have placed in Hanqing Bilingual Pathway’s long-term promise.
Redefining Excellence in Bilingual Education
The visit offered a first-hand glimpse into Hanqing Bilingual Pathway’s classrooms, where students — starting from Early Years — are immersed in a nurturing and academically rigorous environment. The programme is led by our Founding Principal, Amanda Dennison, and operated by HQP Chinese Principal, Luna Cao, whose expertise is grounded in extensive experience in Mandarin-English bilingual education at leading international schools in China.
The Hanqing Bilingual Pathway uniquely integrates Mandarin and English learning within Shrewsbury’s British Curriculum framework, fostering cultural fluency, cognitive development, and a deep love of learning.
