“Shrewsbury has almost been like a home for me over these past 15 years. It is a place that I have, funnily enough, found comfort in, but also a place where I have been able to find my own interests. Especially in these last two years, I have been able to truly discover myself in terms of academics and also on a more personal basis. Shrewsbury has exposed me to many things, and through these many challenges, I have been able to learn who I truly am. I am grateful for the 15 years I spent here at Shrewsbury.
My favourite thing about studying at Shrewsbury has to be the community that I have found myself to be a part of. It is a community of friends, teachers and so much more, that is, of course, mainly based on academics but also contains many more social aspects. The small things, like being able to sit around the Sixth Form Centre after school with my friends simply messing about, or the school and House events, have made my school experience that much more enjoyable. I will really miss the community of Shrewsbury, but I am also sure that the bonds I have made with students and teachers alike will continue into the future.”
