My review of the term begins with thanks to our parents for their continued support in building a wonderful and proactive school community.
Our teachers have enjoyed watching our students develop in confidence and embrace new and growing opportunities. I have particularly felt proud seeing and hearing the children put our values of the month into action.
This term we have also seen the enrichment of our specialist areas. Through our music events, we are seeing our young musicians begin to blossom with confidence at the start of their musical journeys. On the sports field and through our aquatics programme, we are beginning to develop and nurture our teams. Our Design and Technology and our involvement with DEC has enriched the specialism, and has brought aspirational opportunities for our children. The library, which is central to our community, continues to develop its own unique identity.
The expertise of our staff and the ongoing support from our parents across all our events glues our community together and adds to the richness of our children’s experiences. Linking school and home is truly a strength at City Campus.
As we reflect on the many highlights of this term, we also look forward to the many opportunities ahead for our students and parents in 2020.
