British Ambassador to Thailand celebrates Shrewsbury's achievements.
To mark Shrewsbury’s long-standing partnership with the British Embassy in Thailand, the school community was invited to a special evening with the British Ambassador, in the stunning Embassy grounds.
City Campus parents and staff gathered together, along with special guests from Riverside to celebrate the values of British education and the achievements of City Campus in its founding year.
The event opened with a beautiful set of vocal performances from some of our Riverside students. Principal, Ms Amanda Dennison then took the opportunity to celebrate the combination of passionate and experienced staff team, and our supportive and pioneering parents at City Campus.
The Principal commented on the unique learning environment at City Campus, saying, “We have created a wonderful school community - the children are happy and progressing well in all elements of their development and learning - there is a sense of belonging. Visitors comment on the strong positive ethos they feel from the welcoming children, parents and staff. This does not happen by chance.”
His Excellency Brian Davidson then extended his congratulations for the milestones reached at City Campus, noting particularly the addition of an extra Early Years 1 class, and the focus on the specialist subject of Design and Technology. Our thanks to all our guests for attending this memorable event.
