THANKING OUR TEACHERS AT WAI KRU

Students mark traditional Thai ceremony.

Wai Kru is a poignant Thai tradition that is celebrated every year at Shrewsbury. During the ritual, the children pay their respect to their teachers and have the opportunity to express gratitude for their education.

During this year’s ceremony at City Campus, the Principal shared her own memories of school, and how pivotal one teacher has been in giving a young Ms Dennison a voice at primary school.

After presenting beautiful flower arrangements to their teachers, our children were reminded to remain thankful to the adults that support them in their young lives - their teachers and of course, their parents.

Ms Dennison shares her personal takeaways from Wai Kru in her weekly Principal's Blog. Read all posts here: https://www.shrewsbury.ac.th/city/news/principals-blog
