TEAMING UP TO EXPLORE AT RIVERSIDE

Cross-campus connections continue for Year 6.

Groups of Year 6 children from both City Campus and Riverside joined together to take part in Explorer Day. Hosted at Shrewsbury Riverside, the day was centered around Year 6’s Explorers topic.

Children worked in their house teams to build tents, make slow-release energy snacks, learn about first aid, design treasure maps and solve their Breakout Box clues.

Mrs Hill, Year 6 teacher at City Campus, commented, ”I was thoroughly impressed with my class’ mature approach to our first cross-campus event this year. Year 6 demonstrated excellent social skills, showed off their can-do attitude and made a fantastic effort to win house points when they worked in their house teams alongside our Riverside students. I’m really excited for our next cross-campus gathering when the students from Riverside will travel to City Campus for our next topic, World War 2!”

This latest visit was part of the ongoing collaboration programme between Shrewsbury’s campuses in Bangkok. Children have many opportunities during each school year to spend time together, learn together and get to know each other, in preparation for the merging of cohorts from both campuses in Year 7 at Riverside.

All children that graduate from City Campus in Year 6 are given a guaranteed place in Year 7 at Shrewsbury Riverside. To find out more, please contact our Admissions team on 02 203 1222 or admissions-city@shrewsbury.ac.th.
