SETTLING AT SHREWSBURY

New parents enjoy coffee morning hosted by the Principal.

New parents from Early Years 2 (EY2) up to Year 6 were invited for a special coffee morning in the Recital Hall, to celebrate their new place in the City Campus community, and to hear more about all the opportunities on offer to their children at Shrewsbury.

Ms Dennison gave parents an insightful overview of the Shrewsbury family, which includes a highly skilled and experienced senior leadership team, a wealth of teaching expertise, a dedicated team of administrative and support staff, a strong community of parents, and a prestigious Board of Governors based in both the UK and Thailand.

The Principal went on to share some her top tips to parents, as they prepare to embark on their child's learning journey at Shrewsbury. One key piece of advice was to READ! Whether reading with our children at home, having them read to us, or by simply modelling reading as adults, it is a vital part of City Campus's ethos to nuture a love of books and literature.

To that end, the school's Library team took the opportunity to show parents all that is available to their children in our wonderful Library space, such as author visits, book fairs, family reading challenges and more.

We are delighted to receive many more families into our City Campus community this year. Our incoming cohort of Early Years 1 (EY1) parents will enjoy their own welcome event at City Campus next week.
