City Campus Playgroup
At Shrewsbury International School Bangkok City Campus, we offer two playgroups:
The ‘Starfish Playgroup’ — This playgroup (for children aged 1-3 years) operates under the British International Pathway and is led by British teachers with EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) experience and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) from the UK. It’s named after our beloved Early Years mascot, the starfish — an incredible creature known for its strength and resilience, qualities we aim to nurture in our children here at City Campus.
The ‘Mandarin & Me Playgroup’ — This playgroup (for children aged 2-4 years) operates under the Hanqing Bilingual Pathway — our Mandarin and English equal-focus programme. It is led by native Mandarin-speaking teachers from China with QTS-equivalent qualifications. The playgroup focuses on introducing children to basic Mandarin through a play-based learning approach.
Both of our playgroups provide a warm and welcoming space for children to connect with others, explore, and embark on their learning journey. Through a variety of joyful, play-based activities in our specially designed Early Years areas, we support their growth and development every step of the way.

Who?
Starfish Playgroup is for children aged 1-3 years.
Mandarin & Me Playgroup is for children aged 2-4 years.
*Each child must be accompanied by a maximum of 2 parents at all times (nannies are not permitted).
What?
Children explore various play-based activities to boost motor skills, confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. Our EY teachers also lead a music and storytelling session for families to enjoy together.
How much?
Starfish Playgroup is THB 400 per child/session (include snacks)
Mandarin & Me Playgroup is THB 500 per child/session (include snacks)
How to register?
Complete a form for each session by clicking this link on this page. The form will open in advance and will close once registration for that week is full.
