OVERVIEW

Age Range 2+ years
Year Group Nursery

Our Nursery programme is a vital component of our Early Years Curriculum, designed to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment to cater to the unique needs of children aged 2 years old — our youngest learners — for a strong start to their first journey into school and to develop a lifelong foundation for learning.

Our Nursery Curriculum

Based on the UK’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and blended with the Reggio Emilia Approach, our Nursery programme is designed to provide holistic development.

  • Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

The EYFS forms the basis of our educational framework, ensuring that children’s learning and development are supported through a play-based approach. Our curriculum focuses on the EYFS’s seven areas of learning and development: Communication and Language, Physical Development, Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, and Expressive Arts and Design.

  • Reggio Emilia Approach

Drawing inspiration from the Reggio Emilia Approach, we view children as capable learners who are driven by their natural curiosity and creativity. Our programme encourages children to explore their interests using a variety of tools, with an emphasis on supporting each child’s unique ways of expressing themselves and learning.

Meet Our Team

Our teachers are experienced, qualified professionals in the UK’s Early Years Foundation Stage, and hold the UK Government’s Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) verification. They work closely with each child individually to promote social, emotional, physical and cognitive development through a range of activities using our play-based and child-centred approaches.

“In our Nursery, we believe that early experiences shape a child’s future. Our dedicated team provides a nurturing environment where each child’s unique potential is celebrated from the very start. Through engaging play and creative exploration, we lay a strong foundation for their learning journey, ensuring that each child develops the skills and confidence to enjoy and thrive in their Early Years.”
