Professional Actor Vin Kridakorn Inspires Year 6 Students

Shrewsbury  Bangkok Riverside was delighted to welcome Vin Kridakorn, a Thai voice-over artist and acting instructor, to work with our Year 6 students as part of their Performing Arts learning experience.

Throughout the workshops, Vin guided students through a range of professional acting techniques, with a particular focus on using voice and breath to develop believable and engaging characters. Students explored how the same scenario could be transformed through different contexts, emotions and performance choices, gradually building towards a series of impressive mini performances.

Vin brought a wealth of industry experience to the sessions. Alongside starring in numerous television commercials, he recently provided the voice for the Ford Motor Company campaign in the Philippines. He also currently serves as one of the acting coaches on Academy Fantasia, one of Thailand’s most popular TV talent shows.

During his time at Shrewsbury Bangkok Riverside, Vin was incredibly impressed by the creativity, confidence and professionalism shown by our students. He also kindly agreed to judge one of the categories at this year’s Junior School Film Festival, describing the competition as “a credit to the school.”

While presenting the Best Picture Award on the evening of the festival, Vin praised the students’ efforts, commenting:

“Everyone should be proud of themselves. Your students were a pleasure to work with.”
