Senior STEAM Logo Unveiled

Shrewsbury International School Bangkok Riverside is proud to unveil the new official logo for the Senior STEAM programme, a vibrant symbol of creativity, innovation, collaboration and interdisciplinary learning.
The logo was designed by Ami, Year 11, whose outstanding concept was selected from a wide range of submissions received from students across multiple year groups. Ami’s design stood out for its exceptional balance of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics, while also capturing the energy and identity of the growing STEAM programme within the Senior School.
What makes this achievement even more remarkable is that Ami developed the design whilst simultaneously preparing for her IGCSE examinations. Her commitment, creativity and professionalism throughout the process have been truly exceptional.
The final logo represents a wonderful evolution of the existing Prep School STEM identity, successfully building upon the foundations already established within the wider school community while introducing a more mature and dynamic Senior School character. Each letter of the logo subtly incorporates elements from across the STEAM disciplines, from circuitry and engineering components to artistic creativity and mathematical symbolism, reflecting the collaborative nature of STEAM education at Shrewsbury.
Following the selection process, Ami worked closely with the school’s official graphic designer, Peh, refining and developing the original concept into the final polished design now being launched across the Senior School. This collaboration provided Ami with a unique opportunity to experience a real-world professional design process, transforming an initial student idea into a fully realised branding piece.
The launch of the Senior STEAM logo marks another exciting milestone in the continued development of STEAM at Shrewsbury Riverside. As the programme continues to expand through cross-curricular projects, innovation challenges, and future-focused learning experiences such as the Year 7 Mission to Mars programme, the logo will become a central visual identity representing creativity, problem-solving, and excellence across the school community.
