Maxi, a recent graduate from the Class of 2024, exemplifies the breadth of opportunities and the commitment to holistic education at Shrewsbury International School Bangkok, Riverside. Joining the school in 2017, Maxi’s journey to graduating with us in Year 13 reflects the diverse and enriching experiences that shape students into well-rounded individuals ready to make a positive impact in the world.

Shrewsbury’s outstanding arts programme nurtured Maxi’s creativity and passion as an art scholar. His talent and dedication led him to excel in both artistic and academic pursuits, earning the English prize during Speech Days. 

Maxi’s academic excellence extended beyond the classroom, with his remarkable achievement of winning CIE’s Top in the World award for English Design & Technology in 2022, a testament to his hard work and commitment.

Beyond academics, Maxi’s involvement in school life showcased his versatility and determination. He was an active member of the Mangrove Teens environmental group, demonstrating his commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. 

He also represented Shrewsbury in swimming and cross-country meets, proving himself as a dedicated athlete. Additionally, Maxi’s participation in the debate club honed his communication skills and critical thinking, further rounding out his educational experience.

Maxi’s outstanding achievements have earned him offers from renowned universities in the UK, where he will pursue studies in design and product engineering.
