Junior Music Students Recognised for Outstanding External Music Achievements

Our Junior School music students recently celebrated their outstanding accomplishments at the External Music Achievements Celebration. Over 60 students, ranging from Early Years to Year 6, gathered in Memorial Hall for photographs and refreshments to commemorate their honourable achievements. 

External music events provide young musicians with the opportunity to experience performance environments outside of school and showcase their skills before new audiences. Collectively, students received approximately 250 trophies, certificates and recognitions from various festivals, competitions and performances across the world. Awards were bestowed across several categories, including piano, Thai instruments, string, wind, voice and drums. 

The Riverside Music Department is incredibly proud of each student’s hard work and dedication, and we look forward to seeing their talents and passions carry them well into the future.
