Ashley Teo, a proud alumna of Shrewsbury International School, Class of 2015, is a testament to the idea that following your passions can lead to extraordinary places. Her recent feature in ELLE magazine marks the latest milestone in a dance journey that began right here in our school halls.

While at Shrewsbury, Ashley first discovered her love for K-pop cover dance. What began as an interest soon became more than a hobby, it was a driving force that shaped her passion for dance, fashion, and lifestyle. After graduating, she went on to study at the University of Bristol, where she continued to hone her craft while also building a presence on social media, all alongside completing a degree in Experimental Psychology.

Today, ten years after her graduation, Ashley’s journey has come full circle. After spending five years working in finance in London, she made the bold decision to move to Singapore to pursue content creation full-time, combining her creativity with professional ambition. Her dedication and perseverance have led to a career in which she not only lives her passion, but is also recognised for it. Being featured in a magazine as prestigious as ELLE is a true highlight of her professional journey.

Ashley’s story is a powerful reminder of how the passions we discover and nurture in our youth can shape our futures in remarkable ways. We are immensely proud of all she has achieved and look forward to seeing where her journey takes her next.
