Nurturing students through holistic education leads to well-rounded success
Alumni Class2024 Exceptional People Riverside Sixth form
Our school boasts an outstanding academic team of over 200 QTS–qualified teachers, experienced university counsellors, and a range of supporting staff, all of which prepare our students to continue to flourish.
Built on the school motto that “if the heart is right, all will be well,” we pride in providing students with the tools to become leaders of tomorrow, going on to make meaningful impact in areas of society that matter the most.
From our state–of–the–art, purpose–built facilities to the wide range of extracurricular activities, our school embeds growth and development into its core while delivering the robust English National Curriculum that has been adapted to an international setting and one that sees the co-curriculum as complementary to academic studies.
This summer, our graduates embarked on new beginnings in destinations across the world, pursuing studies in a range of disciplines such as Medicine, Economics, Arts, Engineering and Psychology; leaving the school community well prepared to thrive and learn in a new environment.
Class of 2024 graduate, Tori, who joined the school in Year 1, demonstrated how our holistic approach to education can shape students’ futures. From as early as Year 3, Tori embraced leadership roles: Form Representative; Eco Club; Model United Nations; and Head of School. Her dedication earned her four A* grades in A Levels and a place at Oxford University to study Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. But Tori fondly remembers the opportunities outside the classroom the most; working alongside teachers in a variety of roles taught Tori much more than academic excellence – she was truly stretched out of her comfort zone by the opportunities our school provided.
“Teachers understand students as individuals outside of their academic ability.”
– Torfun (Tori) Chittmittrapap, Head of School 2023-24

Thomas, now at the University of California Davis, also embodied our school’s “think local, act global” ethos through his volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and the Lymphoma and Leukaemia Society during his time at the school. Again, our holistic approach and student centred experiences allowed Thomas to shape his future exactly as he wanted to.
Once our students reach Year 10, they embark on a four year programme which prepares them for their IGCSE examinations and beyond. For the recent 2023/2024 academic year, 78% of students received A*/A, compared to the UK average of 22%. Once they enter Year 12 or Sixth Form, we offer Higher Education counselling for students, guiding them when submitting applications to universities so that they can set themselves apart from others around the world.
Taking pride in our accomplished alumni and this year’s graduates, we continue our commitment to fostering a lifelong connection with former students through reunion gatherings, newsletters, online and in–school communities, and a range of projects.
Last year, we celebrated 20 years of academic excellence, community and culture, and this year we are delighted to look back on our 21st year with great confidence that our school-wide initiatives continue to make a lasting impact with our students going on to make positive change in the world. With over two decades of excellence, our school continues to empower students to excel academically and thrive as global citizens.
