IGCSE & A-Levels
In Key Stages 4 and 5, students at Shrewsbury International School Bangkok Riverside Campus embark on a comprehensive academic journey. They take GCSE and IGCSE courses in Key Stage 4, where they study a core curriculum alongside optional subjects. These internationally recognised qualifications serve as a foundation for future academic pursuits, including Advanced Level or A-Level courses in Key Stage 5.
Advanced Subsidiary (AS) and A-Levels are undertaken between the ages of 16 and 18, with AS-Level representing the first half of an A-Level course. Both qualifications are esteemed globally and are critical for university admission and future employment opportunities. Alongside academic rigour, Shrewsbury Bangkok Riverside Campus emphasises holistic development through initiatives like Reading the World, an interdisciplinary Humanities course, and the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), which nurtures students’ research skills and fosters independent learning.
These diverse offerings prepare students not only for higher education but also for lifelong success, equipping them with the critical thinking, creativity and determination essential for personal and professional growth.
