Shrewsbury International School is proud to be able to provide a platform for students who wish to consolidate their status at the elite end of the performance continuum.
Those who show an interest and talent in any sport, whether in an individual discipline such as swimming and golf, or as part of a team game such as football and basketball, are invited to apply.
Students who are accepted are supported in developing their skill through performance workshops, training grants and lifestyle coaching in areas such as nutrition, psychology and core stability.
The programme is divided into four levels. Elite Gold, Elite One, Elite Two and Elite Three. Junior School students will normally enter the Team at Elite Three level and Senior School students will enter at Elite Two level.
Once a member of Team Shrewsbury, students can strive to move up to the next level, with Elite Gold being the pinnacle.
It is a given that members of Team Shrewsbury are outstanding role models for all students but especially to those who may have emerging talent.
