More than 300 gymnasts from six international schools participated in this highly competitive event.

We had six sessions of gymnastics ranging from Level 1 girls through to level 5 boys throughout the two-day event.

The standard of gymnastics has improved enormously over the last six years in Bangkok and the performances from all gymnasts were superb. The team representing Shrewsbury competed with skill and flare and produced some outstanding performances.

Many of our gymnasts also achieved many personal best scores and full event results can be viewed on our website and on StudyWiz. Well done to both our boys and girls teams who continue to prove themselves as one of the leading gymnastics teams in Thailand.

TEAM RESULTS
Level 1 Girls Team: Winners
Level 1 Girls B team:	2nd Place
Level 2 Girls Team: 2nd place
Level 3 Girls Team: Winners
Level 4 Girls Team: Winners

Level 1 Boys Team: 2nd place
Level 2 Boys Team: 3rd place
Level 3 Boys team: Winners
Level 4 Boys Team: Winners

INDIVIDUAL RESULTS
Girls
Level 1
Thanya 2nd place
Emy 3rd place
Level 2
Yasmin	3rd place
Earn	2nd place
Level 3
Yuka	4th place
Level 4
Gigi	3rd place
Tie	2nd place
Sayaka	2nd place

Boys
Level 1
Tad	3rd place
Level 2
Lucas	3rd place
Level 3
Tae	Champion
Leo	3rd place
Level 4
Safe	Champion
Tony	2nd place

After a slow start the Storm hit with a vengeance and won the game 25-15.
It was certainly a team effort but particular stand outs were Mooky (12SH) and Lee (11AN). Mooky, who is now a Team Shrewsbury elite athlete, has been playing basketball at Shrewsbury for more than six years now and she shows a tremendous speed around the court. Mooky was the top scorer, and was greatly supported by the talented Lee. Pink (12GP) & Bee (12PR) also displayed some sound shooting. All team members showed a real sense of team spirit and dominated throughout all their games.
The team are : Mooky, Bee, Pink, Bowling 12GP, Eirika 12SH, Mina 12JG, Lee, Gift 11ED, Aim 11AN, Por 10DA, Mook 10SR, Beaut 10SR, Praew 10SR, Palm 10CM, Am 9KH, Ploy 9KH, Net 9MT, Tammy 9LF.
Coach P-J. However, with fantastic floor and bar routines we managed to achieve Runner up in the Level 4 Team competition and Bobbi achieved 5th and Tie 6th place overall. Great results after a rocky start on beam!
Sayaka, who is in Level 5, competed exceptionally well on three apparatus and before going to beam was ranked second overall, however, after three falls she was pushed back to 6th place which was still a great result against the best in South East Asia.
On Saturday our boys came out in a storm with the Level 2 Level 3 and Level 4 teams all finishing runners up,
In the individual competitions,
Lucas (L2) came 4th and Jamie (L4) finished 2nd place overall. The boys competition was against club gymnasts so it clearly proved our ranking as one of the best teams in the region.
On Saturday our Level 3 girls competed with determination and energy. They finished runners up in the team competition only 0.4 points behind UWC.
Gi Gi was the overall individual winner and blew all competitors away with her skill and talent. Yuka achieved 5th place in the individual event.
Sunday saw our Level 4 and Level 5 girls compete in the finals of the individual apparatus competition:

Summary:

Level 5
Sayaka
Floor:	4th place
Bars:	2nd place
Beam:	5th place
Vault:	2nd place

Level 4
Tie
Floor:	4th place
Bars:	2nd place
Beam:	6th place
Vault:	5th place
Joyce
Floor:	6th place
Vault:	2nd place
Bobbi
Beam:	5th place
Bars:	7th place

Well done to all of our team and thank you to our ever supportive travelling parents who win the gold medal as the best in Asia!
