Our students are....
....Broad Minded
Our objective
Shrewsbury International School aims to instil in its students an understanding that qualities are just as important as qualifications, and that through a commitment to activities outside the classroom our students will develop personal attributes, self-confidence and an appreciation of having a broad range of interests. Shrewsbury International School aims to develop these interests into areas of expertise and excellence where appropriate.
Our students

2.Have plentiful opportunities to participate in a range of sports and to develop their skills through to excellence where appropriate;
3.Will be exposed to new sports to help them acquire both skills and teamwork values;
4.Will have plentiful opportunities to learn musical instruments;
5.Will have opportunities to enjoy music in orchestras, ensemble groups and choirs;
6.Will have plentiful opportunities to perform on stage through drama, debating, productions, assemblies and “Finding A Voice” activities in “You-Time!”.
Our teachers
1.See themselves as role-models in encouraging an appreciation of breadth;
2.Will pass on their interests and areas of expertise to students;
3.As classroom teachers and form tutors will support and encourage students to participate outside the curriculum.
