Being a member of Team Shrewsbury inspires me to achieve my full potential in sport. The price of being successful is hard work, determination, dedication and responsibility. By committing to sport physically it helps me mentally put myself in the right frame of mind for other things such as examinations.

For me sport is a form of escapism from any stress and worries in my life. I relish the challenges sport presents. I always push myself to the maximum, both in training and when competing against others. I love the sense of competition and the prestige associated with winning. Most importantly sport is enjoyable. Being a member of Team Shrewsbury proves that I have talent and that I have shown exceptional dedication, hard work and commitment in the sports that I compete in. To be a member of Team Shrewsbury is a great honour.

What is it that you like about sport, about competing and what being a member of Team Shrewsbury means to you:
Sport is a great thing that keeps me fit, happy and healthy. It also helps me relieve the stress that is put upon me in school. When competing in sport I always give 100% (and more) to my team to help us win. However, while I am competing I always keep in mind that I must show sportsmanship no matter what the circumstances are!
Being in Team Shrewsbury makes me feel proud because it means that the School have recognised my dedication to my chosen sport of football.
